Welcome to Boom J's Cuisine, the home of authentic Caribbean cooking in Montreal. Founded on April 19, 2013, by Jermaine, our story began in the heart of Pointe-Saint-Charles on Wellington Street. Driven by a passion for traditional Jamaican recipes, bold island seasonings, and drum-grilled Jerk Chicken cooked the real way, Boom J's quickly grew into a local Sud-Ouest favorite.

Two Neighborhood Locations in the Sud-Ouest

As our community of supporters grew, so did our footprint.

* Pointe-Saint-Charles (Wellington Street): Our original flagship location where the journey started, serving hot meals, box patties, and takeout daily.

* Ville-Émard (Boulevard Monk): Our second brick-and-mortar location, bringing authentic Caribbean classics closer to neighboring communities across the borough.

Taking the Island Vibe on the Road: Our Original Food Truck

To bring our signature dishes directly to large crowds, corporate gatherings, and Quebec's biggest cultural events, we launched the original Boom J's Cuisine food truck. Equipped to handle high-volume event catering, our classic mobile kitchen serves up the iconic, slow-smoked charcoal flavors that put us on the map—including our famous Jerk Chicken, slow-braised Oxtail, Curried Goat, and freshly baked Jamaican Patties.

Expanding the Fleet: Boom Boom Poulet Frit (14-Foot Mid-Size Truck)

To make event catering even more flexible across Greater Montreal, we expanded our mobile fleet with a second, compact 14-foot food truck: Boom Boom Poulet Frit.

While our original truck focuses on traditional slow-smoked island plates, our Boom Boom Poulet Frit truck turns up the volume on island-style street food. Operating as a nimble mid-size truck, it easily fits into tighter private driveways, corporate office lots, and urban venues while serving up:

* Crispy Island-Style Fried Chicken: Golden, deeply marinated with our signature herbs and spices.

* Signature Jerk Poutine: Fresh fries and squeaky cheese curds smothered in our rich, savory jerk-infused gravy.

* Event Essentials: Sweet plantains, crispy fries, wings, and classic fan-favorite combos tailored for fast, high-energy event service.
